Spring is in the air! It doesn't   feel like Spring as it has been the coldest and rainiest weather that I've seen in quite a while here in San Diego - but Spring FASHION is upon us!  Alex Yáñez, Fashion Stylist for Neiman Marcus, presented a preview of the top trends for the season. The media luncheon hosted by Neiman Marcus is one of my favorite events. It is always such a good time with NM to see what is in store with fashion and accessories. The weather is getting cooler and the excitement of the upcoming holiday season is building at our house! What may start off as a cool morning can quickly turn into a quite warm afternoon here in San Diego. Once the sun sets, the temperature can dip down just as fast. My simple fix: layers. I recently shopped at Kohl's and fell for Cuddl Duds separates. There are so many styles and color choices to choose from. I wasn't the only Kohl's customer to discover this as they were sold out of my size in styles that I wanted. I did score a few great items and I will be back to Kohl's for more! The new Nordstrom Rack store at The Shops at La Jolla Village opened on Oct. 21. The La Jolla store joins several San Diego Nordstrom Rack locations: Mission Valley, National City, Carmel Mountain and San Marcos. The night before, Nordstrom Rack hosted a private shopping party. Invited guests had the opportunity to enjoy sips, treats and exclusive shopping before the store officially opens! I snapped a few pictures from the pre-opening event. I encountered some great people (both staff and shoppers). I found a few of my favorite brands. I loved the festive holiday items that were displayed. I enjoyed the tray passed hors d’ouevres (fried mac n cheese bites, shrimp tacos, pulled pork sliders). Beer and sparkling wine was also offered, but I did not partake. For those of you who like to get a jump on holiday shopping, you now have another venue here in San Diego! Happy Shopping.

I am super excited about everything Fall. I'm just waiting for the weather to cool a bit here in San Diego! I am ready with my fall wardrobe thanks in large part to the good folks at PajamaJeans ! It's that time for the Neiman Marcus Fall Trend Event! The Fall 2015 Trend Event preview in San Diego was held on August 12 at Neiman Marcus Fashion Valley . While enjoying a nice lunch, bloggers had the opportunity to preview Fall Fashion as presented by Style Advisor Alex Yanez. I gladly put down my electronic devices that normally remind me of the time. I had been relying on my smart phone or my fitness tracker to help me keep time. On Saturday April 18 at 8 AM, +Athleta  UTC hosted a private yoga and shopping event for bloggers. I loved the diversity of our group which consisted of mom, lifestyle, and running/fitness bloggers. I love meeting fellow bloggers IRL! I was long overdue for some "me" time so the timing of the Athleta blogger meet up was PERFECT!
