Being pregnant for the first time is an exciting time. It can also be a time of anxiety. Luckily my husband and I took classes and toured the hospital well before the big show. It gave us the confidence not to panic at go time. It was very helpful for us. If you are in the San Diego area, I invite you to check out resources that are available for Moms-to-Be.

What a wonderful program for expecting mothers! I wish they had stuff like this when I was pregnant for the first time.
ReplyDeleteNeat! I did take part in the classes etc.. for my first child. We still lived in the States then. I didn't take part in everything they offer here in Austria. I did have the physical therapy after the birth and a prenatal class and hospital orientation.
ReplyDeleteThese things are certainly a great idea for first time moms. They have a way of easing minds!
I took tons of classes and read everything I could get my hands on before my first was born. I think more information is usually a good thing for expectant parents. Just have to remember to keep it all in perspective, and to remember to go with the flow after your child is born. Somethings you have to learn by doing, but being well prepared helps, too.
ReplyDeleteVery good information. Seems like a wonderful program for expecting mothers. Back in my mommyhood days they didn't have things like this.
