Nostalgia: Saturday Morning Cartoons & Bickering with My Siblings

Thanks to our friends at MyBlogSpark & General Mills we received a gift pack that brought back nostalgic memories of my childhood.  Our prize pack included a box of Cheerios, a box of Lucky Charms, a vintage Parcheesi board game, and a $10 gift card to Target.  Life has been a blur for the past few months. My blog time has fallen by the wayside. With the recent loss in my family we have been focused on simply enjoying our family moments  even more.  Cereal was always a hit when we were kids.  I've found that among many of my mom friends - Cheerios has been a part of their toddler's early finger foods!  Did you toddler learn to pick up food with Cheerios too? General Mills has gone "Retro” with special edition classic packaging from the 1950’s, ’60s and ’80s!  Do these packages bring back memories for you as well? April Showers Bring May Flowers

Easter 2013 Hello  April.  On this first day in April it was gloomy and drizzled a bit during my drive to work.  I welcome the new month since March was a rough one this year.  I have been in a bit of a funk for quite a while now. As you may know, I lost my Grandmother very recently and it has affected me quite a bit.   I've been on an emotional roller coaster ever since.  I am taking things day by day.  I have happy thoughts and wonderful blessings.  I also have my sad moments. I'm going with the flow the best that I can... I'm including our most recent family photo which was taken on Easter Sunday.  I'm blessed.  We are happy, healthy, and have each other.  I keep my spirits up and remind myself that April showers bring May Flowers...
