The School of Fashion and Style at SKILLSHARE

This post is sponsored by Skillshare

Skillshare is a website that gives you access to Project-Based Classes, Anytime, Anywhere.  You can learn at your own pace and on your own schedule. The Fashion & Style classes sparked my interest. Skillshare's School of Fashion and Style is led by industry leaders who are shaping the world of fashion today.  The class offerings are extensive!

One of the classes that really caught my eye is the Introduction to Fashion Photography. The class is designed for anyone who wants to explore fashion photography as a profession or a hobby. Personally I think this would be GREAT for fashion bloggers!

I feel like I missed out on the artistic gene in our family.  My brother is a artist by trade and my mother is a professional floral designer.  All hope is not lost on me though!  It's NEVER too late to learn!  I can take a class to learn Basic Watercolors to learn painting with PaperFashion.  This class is geared for anyone that wants to learn the basics of watercoloring. This skill can be used to start on your own fashion or illustration projects. Or in my case, just to explore artistry and creativity.

Want to learn how to make a boutonniere? I could ask my mom, the florist, or learn on my own by taking a course at Skillshare!  I can impress her with my newly learned skills! Take a peek at this step by step photo!

Is there something that you have always been wanting to learn?  Skillshare has an impressive host of topics that will teach you! They offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of learning.  You can choose either online classes as well as local offerings!

What's the one thing that you are passionate about and would love to learn how to do?!

Disclosure: I have partnered with Skillshare to share my thoughts about Skillshare's new School of Fashion classes. All opinions are my own.

    1. Hi Emma. I remember getting stressed out about art projects in school. I'd put less pressure on myself now and just enjoy!

  4. Sounds like a great opportunity for you.
If I had the time, I would love to take a painting class, oil or watercolors. I've always been impressed by the skill many people have in those areas. I don't have any natural painting skills, so I figure a class might help me.

    1. Hi Gina. I understand about time pressures. Being mom and working at the office all day doesn't leave much time... I love how with these programs you can gear it to work with you scheduling. I'll bet you a dollar that you have way more skills than I do!

  5. Love, love. love, love this! Did I say I love this?
I'm not even so much a fashion person, as drawn in by the photography and styles in the picture. I love the step by step, also. So they offer online and give you an opportunity to learn something you may have always wanted to learn, but didn't have time, didn't take seriously, or didn't know you could do! Awesome! Sharing this with a couple people :-)

    1. Hi Alise - Skillshare has a great community. I would visit their site and make an inquiry since I'm not sure about the showcasing aspect. I do know that you can share your talents by applying to become a teacher via Skillshare. Here is a link to their contact page: Contact Info-Skillshare I hope this helps. Thank you for visiting and sharing your comment.
