Well, my blog sucks but my life sure doesn't. I've been absent from posting and updating my blog. Instead, I've been fully involved in living happy moments with my family. A fair trade off for sure. There will be time later to catch up on blogging. Moments like this can't be missed!
What a perfect perspective. Life is too short to let those precious moments pass you by. Glad you've taken a breather and had some time to breathe in family!
ReplyDeleteThank you Shannon. Our son is growing up SO FAST. The blog can wait, for now - I don't want to miss a thing.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!! that is a priceless photo as well.
ReplyDeleteBeing a mommy is way more important than updating your blog, that's for sure! I'm glad to hear you've been having fun with your family. <3
ReplyDeleteSometimes LIFE happens---don't want to MISS it =)
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind words! I am heading to a blogging conference soon - I WAS a little embarrassed with my blog. But feeling better now, I can always learn ways to improve it. I may not too proud of my blog (yet), but I'm very proud of my family and my role in it! It will all come together one day.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you! Beautiful picture! Thanks for stopping by my blog and glad you were inspired!
ReplyDeleteLove that picture!!! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteIt's way too easy to get wrapped up in blogging, huh! Love the photo:)
ReplyDeleteBlogging can be such a great escape from stresses, but definitely not a great excuse to miss out on family moments like this! Hope you are enjoying your Saturday!

I always enjoy your posts, so your blog doesn't 'suck.' And you putting your family first makes it even better because your posts are bound to be that much richer (because you'll want to do them rather than feel like you 'have' to do them).
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying the fam. :)
What a great photo! Enjoy that time, it's precious. I'm over from Chasing Joy today :)
ReplyDeleteFamily is everything ~ What an awesome photo!! :)
ReplyDeleteI could write a post with the same title. As a working mom I realized blogging was taking a little too much of my precious time away from my son (and lets be honest a lot of late nights of time away from my husband on the laptop). Thanks for sharing I was beginning to feel like the only "bad blogger"
