On Monday night we were treated to an advanced screening of What to Expect When You're Expecting. I should have a post up soon detailing the event. I have a big mouth & don't really want to spoil the movie for you with too many details. I really wanted to share this post as quickly as I could to suggest a fun movie that is coming out this Friday. When it comes to movies I generally wait for it to come out on DVD. After seeing the trailers, I couldn't wait that long to see this!
My husband & I had a great night with this one! It had been a while since we have enjoyed a night out at the movies. We became parents 23 months ago with our first. We have talked about setting aside time for "date night" but we don't really go out all that much. This was THE PERFECT parent's date night movie. Your husbands will enjoy this movie as much as you do - if not MORE! He will surely love "Dudes Group". This movie is not just for the ladies.
Since most of you are more experienced Wives & Mommies it's advice time! First, when was your last "date night"? How often do you & your spouse go on them? What are your favorite things to do (or places to go) on said date night? Share!
We had our last date night earlier this month for our 10th anniversary. We don't go out much without the kids, but we had fun.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like it is a good movie! Glad you had a good night out!
I want to see that movie. It was about a week or two ago since our last date night. we went to the home show. we had fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to hear this because I really wanted to see this but figured it was one of those films I would love or hate. So glad to hear it's good. Date night here we come!!!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had a date night in ages... I think the last one was for my birthday in March! We're so wrapped up in our kids it's crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way right now. When we "date," it's usually to take the kids to the ballpark to watch a game or something that's a real adventure :-)
ReplyDeleteWe are really fortunate to have my folks only a few minutes away, so we are able to sneak away for a grown up dinner every 6 weeks or so. We think it's important, even if it is just dinner, to get out of the house, just the two of us. We do try to sneak in a movie or even a walk around WalMart after dinner (how romantic!) - but at least it's just us together! I am looking forward to this movie...and the in-laws are coming this weekend, we just might get a chance to go!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up about the movie, not to mention the reminder that we are desperately in need of a date night! Our last one was months ago as well!
ReplyDeleteI have nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award! Congratulations! I found you on VB!
