BabbaCo: Escape The Indoor Blues With Awesome Adventures

This sponsored post is made possible by our friends at BabbaCo. Before I tell you all about the wonders of BabbaCo and their BabbaBox I wanted to make a little confession: I am NOT a crafty Momma (Not YET. I'm a work in progress).  I find so many projects on Pinterest but I don't pin them because I KNOW that I do not have the time or energy to pull these "easy" crafts together.  I work full time and race home each day to be with my little one.  I can't imagine rushing all over town to purchase goodies from the craft store!  Thanks to BabbaBoxes - I don't HAVE to.  EVERYTHING that I need is included.  Right down to scissors, glue, and markers! Each month, the BabbaBox is delivered right to your door and features activities organized around a theme that kids age 3-7 will love. All you need to do is open up the box and enjoy! I dread the winter blues - especially when colds are common and it is usually dark and a bit chilly outdoors by the time my h

52 Week Money Challenge

Happy 2013 all!  I have been MIA for a bit.  I was hit hard by the 2012 Cold & Flu Season .  I'm coming back slowly, but surely. I can hardly wait to get caught up with everyone! My hopes are that you are all free from illness!  It's tough being sick! Ask me, I know!  I have high hopes for 2013 and by the end I hope to have a nice little chunk of funds to CELEBRATE! I am sure that most of you have seen this challenge posted on Facebook. I am participating and wanted to see if you are too. If you aren't familiar with Kassondra's 52 week Money Challenge, please take a moment to watch Kassondra's CW31 Good Day Sacramento  interview regarding the Facebook group that she has started. To date there are 3,500+ participants! I decided to do my deposits in reverse to make it much easier in the end! Since my deposits are going into an interest bearing account, I also figure the larger the amount and longer the money is there - the better. EVERY little bit counts

Macy's Culinary Council Chef Nancy Silverton in San Diego

This post is Sponsored by Macy's. Join Macy's Culinary Council Chef Nancy Silverton on January 12th at the Macy's Mission Valley Home Store! As you all know - I LOVE attending events here in San Diego. I have many LOVES that I share on my blog. One of those loves is a love of FOOD! GOOD food. GREAT food!  This weekend two of my loves are coming together!  When experts share their craft I want to BE THERE to learn their trade secrets!  Sadly, I will not be able to attend this one.   BUT I am very excited to share the details just in case YOU are able to attend. This is sure to be a fun one!  If this is the type of event that catches your interest I would look them up in your area as well (since not all of you are here in San Diego)!  I just love cooking demonstrations! Don't you? I hope that you can make it. Photo Credit: Macys.com When: Saturday, January 12th at Noon Where: Macy's Mission Valley Home Store School of Cooking, Main Level 1555 Camino De
